“Press Release January 28, 2010”
The Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) held its annual Trade Ally recognition breakfast on Thursday January 28, 2010 at the Hilton of Long Island located at 598 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY 11747.
This annual LIPA event provides an opportunity for its Trade Ally partners to network with other professionals who are leading the many energy conservation efforts available on Long Island. The event provides an overview of new programs available for the upcoming year and recognizes partners in several LIPA program categories including electric, solar, HVAC and more with awards presented to the leading companies in their respective fields.
Hi-Light Energy Systems, a division of Hilo Maintenance Systems, Inc. and a previous LIPA Trade Ally award winner in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, was again looking to receive an award at this year’s event.
I can say proudly that, “we did it again!” For the year ending December 31, 2009 Hi-Light was presented with the award in the Commercial Energy Efficiency Program by Kevin S. Law, President and CEO of LIPA and Dan Zaweski, Vice President Energy Efficiency of LIPA for:
“The electrical/lighting contractor that achieved the most energy savings
from total projects submitted”
Being recognized by LIPA for 5 consecutive years running, this clearly shows that Hi-Light Energy Systems has an ongoing commitment to continuously provide Long Island businesses with the quality products, services and energy savings benefits that you would expect from an award-winning LIPA partner.
